Casa Gracia has a simple background. I started being a chef in Germany, after 15 years me and my family came back home to the Philippines, at first I opened up a small canteen and bakery. I was planning ahead with my wife and thought that I wanted to send my daughter to a university in Manila because we decided to live in the province. So I started to go overseas again but just for months, a chef on a cruise. When I retired and already have a lovely home with my family I never forgot my passion for cooking so we thought why not start a restaurant cafe that is very close to home.

 

The history of our home is simple it was built and owned by a german friend and his filipino wife in 2000. We bought this home in November of 2009, started renovating in 2012. We named it Casa Gracia and established it in 2014 because my eldest daughter's name is Joanna Maria Gracia.
